The heart of the street scene lies in England, where there are two main schools of riding, and two ’figurehead’ riders. The first draws its inspiration from BMX, with Danny Macaskill at the head of the movement, with videos such as the one he released a few days ago. The second is 100% trials, with its inspiration lying in competition style - that of the UCI champions. This style of street riding, some say, has helped to push the boundaries of UCI competitions, increasing the expected height of sidehops for example. These days, the best known rider of this movement is Damon Watson, who has been a little less prolific of late. His last full video (Damon Watson #7) was in May 2008, and we’ve been waiting for video 8 since September (Damon Watson - A few clips before #8! & Damon Watson #8 is on its way...).
Well, Damon’s back and has told us that his eighth video will be out soon. It promises to be more impressive than ever since he’s no longer riding a 26" Gu or Adamant, but a 24" Marino. Marino is relatively unknown brand over here, and for good reason. As far as we know, they are not distributed in Europe, and are designed and hand built in Peru! They make BMX, 20" and 26" trials and MTB street frames to a very high standard and with custom geometries. To find out more, visit http://www.marinobike.com/. David Weiman - Texas

Hola. esta fotos llegan desde Texas. es la bicicleta de David Weiman. esta muy contento ya que es su segunda marinobike. la primera fue con soldadura electrica y autogena y mucho mas pesada.
ahora renueva marco con soldadura TIG y muy ligero.

I got another frame from Marino. TIG welded and lighter this time. Very straight frame, everything lines up well. Cool new tensioners/dropouts and better quality paint. He has some nicer tapered frame tubing and other parts like a nice reinforced and hollowed out headtube and BB. He sent me an inspired 24 copy to sell....$200 + shipping.

huaraz 2009

Hola. hace unos dias viajamos a Huaraz. un exelente lugar para practicar trial y disfrutar la naturaleza.
realizamos una exhibicion de trial en la cuidad de RANRAHIRCA. nos trataron muy bien son 4 años que hacemos exhibicion en esta cuidad.
luego de captar la admiracion del publico partimos a la ciudad de AQUIA. una cuidad con unos paisajes maravillosos. tambien nos brindo una lugar lleno de rocas. para una un pequeño video.
en general el viaje fue muy productivo.
